Check before you travel

  • 'French Guinea' is on the MFA first group list; unclear if French Guiana (French citizens, already covered by FR) or Guinea (GN). Not mapped; GN falls under OTHERS (eVisa).
  • rop.gov.om visa exemption pages now 404 and evisa.rop.gov.om refused connections; the list is from the Foreign Ministry page (last updated 22 September 2026).
  • The MFA says the 14 day stay cannot be extended; some news says an extension is possible via the eVisa portal. MFA kept.
  • Tourist eVisa fee OMR 20 for 30 days and processing time are from unofficial guides; not confirmed on evisa.rop.gov.om. An unverified report mentions a zero fee 14 day tourist visa from 3 August 2026 (ROP Decision 109/2026).
