Terms of use

Last updated October 31, 2026

In short

  • Sroky helps you remember deadlines and explains the rules. It is not a lawyer and not the government.
  • You are responsible for your documents and for checking the official source.
  • The free plan covers every deadline for you, for good.
1

Agreeing to these terms

By installing or using Sroky you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the app with a parent.

2

What Sroky is

Sroky is an app that keeps your documents on your phone, reminds you before they run out, and explains the official rules of Azerbaijan in plain words with a link to each official source.

Sroky is a private service. It is not part of the government of Azerbaijan, the State Migration Service, ASAN or any embassy, and it does not speak for them.

3

Not legal advice

The Guide and the reminders are general information. They are not legal advice and they do not replace a lawyer. Rules change, sometimes without notice. Before you act, check the official source or ask the State Migration Service or a licensed lawyer.

4

Your responsibilities

  • Enter correct dates and check what the app reads from a scan.
  • Keep your phone, app lock and backup password safe.
  • Keep a backup if you do not want to lose your data with your phone.
  • Use the app only for your own documents and those of people who agree, such as your family.
  • Do not misuse the app: no reverse engineering to harm it, no attacks, no fake documents.
5

Reminders

We work hard to send every reminder on time, but a phone can block notifications, run out of battery or change its clock. A reminder can be late or missing. Sroky is a helper, not a guarantee: the deadline on your document is what counts.

6

Lawyers and other people in the Guide

Lawyers listed in the app are independent. We check their licence before listing them, but we are not part of their work, their advice or their fees. Any agreement you make with them is between you and them.

8

The app and its content

The app, its design, icons and texts belong to the publisher. You may use them for your own needs. Your documents and photos remain yours: we claim no rights over them.

9

Limits of our responsibility

We provide the app as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for a fine, a refused application or other loss that comes from a missed deadline, a wrong date entered, a rule that changed, or a decision of an authority.

Where the law does not allow us to exclude responsibility, for example for harm caused by our own negligence, nothing here limits it. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law in your country gives you.

10

Stopping

You can stop using Sroky at any time and delete your account in the app. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop the app, we tell you in good time so you can make a backup.

11

Law and disputes

These terms follow the law of the country where the publisher is registered, shown under Who we are. If you have a problem, write to us first at Help and support in the app; most things can be solved quickly. You can also go to the courts of your own country where consumer law allows it.

12

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Big changes are announced in the app before they apply.

Who we are

Sroky is published by a private company. Its full name, registered address and company number are shown here once the registration is complete.
